After spending the last year touring in support of Hootie & the Blowfish: 1993-2003, the South Carolina-based quartet – Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld – will release their first studio album in two years. Recorded at Nashville’s Emerald Studios and produced by Don Gehman, who helmed the band’s hugely successful debut album Cracked Rear View, Looking For Lucky features songwriting collaborations with Matraca Berg, Keith Burns (from Trick Pony), Radney Foster, Hank Futch (from Blue Dogs), Derek George, Walter Salas Humara (from the Silos), Phillip Lammonds (ex-Blue Dog), and Paul Sanchez (from Cowboy Mouth), as well as background vocals from Herb Pedersen.
